Music in Asia is apparently a very serious business

…at least judging from the crowd at MusicMattersAsia today. There was lots of great deadpan humor from the panelists, almost all of which was received in stony silence by the audience. I guess that’s what you get when most of the attendees work for one of the majors.

The panelists, on the other hand, had no shame in each going through all of the talking points for their firm, even if the talking points were a complete non-sequitor after the moderator’s question. I give them credit though for staying focused.
