Not that government will be getting any smaller or out of our lives, but it might stop growing. We do, at least, have the trusty governator here in CA who is doing his best to rip out the patronage systems throughout CA's government and make things more efficient - ie doing what's best for the citizens of CA and not the employees/advisors/etc. He's even pushing forward rational congressional redistricting, which could make congressional districts competitive across the state.
So here's to the year of the Rooster. May it find you prosperous and may it find In Theory filled with informative and provocative posts on unthinkably exciting topics.
